"Travel with Razel"

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

Cebu never fails to surprise us with its Instagrammable views yet affordable beaches. Lambug White Beach is undeniably one of the hottest go-to beach destinations this 2018. The crystal clear water, the great blue skies and the refreshing scenery will surely enthrall you.

No need to travel outside Cebu and spend thousands. With a pocket-friendly adventure to South, your feet will surely bring you to the Little Bora of Southern Cebu! What’s great about it? You’ll get to experience and enjoy the pristine white sand of LAMBUG WHITE BEACH in Badian. NO ENTRANCE FEE & TENTS ARE ALLOWED!

Me and my family recently visited and were completely blown away despite our high expectations. Having the entire place pretty much to ourselves made a huge difference. When we arrived, the falls were empty but at 2 pm, it was PACKED and we couldn’t wait to get out of there. So, here’s our guide to visiting Kawasan Falls without the crowds and on a budget!

This is the best place for a prayerful pause for those going to the South of Cebu. It is situated around 40 Kms from Cebu City. Whether one is going further south or just want a quiet place for peaceful reflection, this place is recommended.

me and my buddies had just completed a laid-back pabebe hike in Mount Kalbasaan. Although our hike was a sweat-inducing workout, we were still itching to add an element of adventure to our day trip. And so, we decided to take on the nearest peak from the KM 28 landmark – Puting Bato.

Everyone loves to hike and cherish Mother Nature’s masterpieces in moderate temperatures beneath a sunny and bright sky. Whether you’re hiking a beginner-friendly mountain in Naga City or a scaling the country’s highest peaks, sunny days simply make our outdoor escapes more pleasurable and picturesque. And let’s face it – hiking in the rain can also lead to miserable experiences, like slips, wet gear and blisters. Trust me, hiking in the rain can be literally a struggle, especially if you’re not equipped with the right gear and footwear.

Surprisingly, though, there are also perks to hiking in the rain. In steep mountains and ranges with an elevation of more than 2,500 MASL, a rare and magnificent phenomenon, known as “sea of clouds”, often emerges, following a light drizzle or rain. And in my year-end hike in Naga City, I got to witness one of nature’s finest creations, after a seemingly endless rainstorm. Although Mount Naupa is less than 1,000 MASL, we amazingly captured the beauty of the remarkable sea of clouds. As an added bonus, we got to drop by some sweet and Instagram-worthy spots – Naga City Boardwalk, Mount Magdook and Pangilatan Peak.

From the city that is famous for its distinct and delectable food like chicharon and lechon, Carcar City gives us one more reason to travel in southern Cebu and experience its very own paradise — the TABYOG Mangrove Garden where you can disconnect to reconnect with nature.

Though still a work in progress, Tabyog Mangrove Garden is already contributing to the marine ecosystem through fisheries, coastal protection, erosion control, and carbon sequestration.
